Cape Town’s favourite seafood destination, the Two Oceans Restaurant at Cape Point, has recently re-opened and has once again been serving up a storm upon the ‘Cape of Storms’.

Welcome the Two Oceans Restaurant – Back this Festive Season – New Restaurant, Cape Point, South Africa

Cape Point visitors can once again enjoy a range of dishes accompanied by the Mother City’s most glorious seaside restaurant view.

The Two Oceans seafood platter is one dish making a whopping comeback. The grilled fish of the day is another winner, as is the slow-roasted pork belly. To end your meal off with something sweet, try the chocolate volcano dessert – and experience an explosion in your mouth!

The Two Oceans Restaurant isn’t the only explosive attraction at this destination. Cape Point is the ultimate nature lover’s getaway, as it offers not only a must-try restaurant but the hiking trails, picnic spots, heritage sites, tidal pools, and beaches in the reserve are refreshingly beautiful and are also popular destinations for Cape Town locals and tourists – especially during the festive season.

Flying Dutchman Funicular

The Flying Dutchman Funicular is another leading attraction at Cape Point. The Funicular is a funicular railway and the first and only commercial funicular of its kind in the whole of Africa. Tickers for the Flying Dutchman are available as both one-way and return. South African pensioners get special funicular rates; just make sure to present your ID upon arrival. All children under the age of 6 get to ride free.

The Cape of Good Hope was known as the most notoriously dangerous coastline in the world, famous for its terrible weather and violent storms, which left several shipwrecks. Cape Point visitors can view the reserve’s 26 remaining shipwrecks along the coastline.
