Table Mountain Aerial Cableway closes due to coronavirus pandemic

Visitors, please note that our Cableway operations are closed from Wednesday 18 March 2020. The cableway will remain closed until greater clarity is given on the management and containment of this virus by the President and international health bodies, such as the World Health Organisation.

Cape Town Big 6 Attractions Lockdown Level 3 Update

1 June 2020: Level 3 regulations have gone into effect on 1 June 2020 in South Africa. All economic and retail activity will resume under strict strict health protocols. Lockdown Level 3 regulations currently state that all public places for recreation are to remain closed.

Cape Town Big 6 Attractions – COVID-19 Update: 
V&A Waterfront: Retailers are open; read more here. Groot Constantia Estate is closed, but Open for wine sales ONLY – Monday to Thursday 09h00 – 17h00. All online wine sales and deliveries have resumed. Kirstenbosch Estate is closed but retailers are open with some restrictions.
