News: Join Zeitz MOCAA Centre for Art Education for a variety of exciting children’s workshops. The workshops will take place over the 2-week Winter holiday period in 17 to 28 June. Children will be encouraged to explore a range of different wet and dry mediums. These will include painting, drawing, collage, 3-D construction, drawing and print-making. Booking recommended!
Winter Holiday Programme
Children will explore the creative possibilities of various materials in a creative, nurturing and child-friendly space where they will learn about the museum, selected displayed artworks and the history of the Silo District and Cape Town Harbour.
Programme
Venue: All workshops will take place on -1 Level in the Centre for Art Education
Workshop for Age 6 – 8 with a max of 20 children. Workshops for Age 9 – 12 with a max of 25 children.
All materials are provided. Children must please wear clothes that can get dirty or bring along an apron.
Guardians are requested to drop off their children at the Centre for Arts Education on level minus one, where they will be registered for the workshop. Please do not leave your children unaccompanied in the reception area.
Parents/guardians with museum membership enjoy free admission. Normal museum admission applies for non-member parents/guardians.
