Table Mountain Cableway
You cannot visit Cape Town without going up the iconic Table Mountain. The cablecar rotates 360 degrees – which ensures that you enjoy all of the views on your way up. Once up on the mountain, bask in the beauty of the city down below, enjoy a free guided walking tour that happens on the hour from 09:00 to 15:00 daily, departing from the Twelve Apostles Terrace (below the Table Mountain Café). Or take a leisurely walk along one of three signposted pathways to take in views from around the city.

Robben Island
Robben Island boasts both a lighthouse and viewpoints of the city. The Robben Island lighthouse was built in 1864 by Joseph Flack. It is 18 metres high and it is the only South African lighthouse to utilise a flashing light instead of a revolving light. The light is visible for 24 nautical miles.

Kirstenbosch
Take a gentle walk along the various trails, paths and routes through the garden to the Boomslang Tree Canopy Walkway, where you can enjoy beautiful views of the garden, mountains and city. Use Kirstenbosch as a starting point for a hike up Table Mountain – there is access to Skeleton Gorge and Nursery Ravine

Groot Constantia
Explore the vast estate on foot, there are numerous walking paths, and joggers and dog walkers are also welcome to enjoy the surrounds. Come and breath the fresh air, while taking in the views of False Bay, the vineyards and the mountains.

Cape Point
View points and lighthouses, Cape Point has them both! Ride the Flying Dutchman Funicular up to the viewing point, below the old lighthouse. Sample world-class cuisine and enjoy the most spectacular vistas over False Bay at the Two Oceans Restaurant.
The new lighthouse sits on the very tip of Cape Point and is still South Africa’s strongest lighthouse. It’s been noticed as far as Gansbaai, have you seen it from further away?

Take in great views over the harbour and Table Mountain while you dine at one of their numerous restaurants. Charter a helicopter for an unforgettable flight over the Cape Town, enjoy a ride on The Cape Wheel by day or night or take a sunset cruise from the harbour.
