Robben Island Museum offers a range of tours, each providing visitors with a unique experience. Depending on your preferences, you can choose from a standard bus tour, an educational tour, which is aimed at primary and secondary school learners, or a specialised tour, which includes private tours, VIP tours and Protocol tours. Each tour lasts approximately three and a half hours. Robben Island Museum is open daily (weather and demand permitting) from 08h00 – 17h00. Tickets can be purchased online or at the Nelson Mandela Gateway at the V&A Waterfront.

Transport: A ferry departs from the Nelson Mandela Gateway at the V&A Waterfront. The tour takes 3.5 hours, including the two legs of a 38-minute ferry trip to and from the island.
