From the beginning of the year, the immensely talented Lorrain Loots has embarked on a fascinating journey dubbed 365 Postcards for Ants. It’s a Cape Town focused spinoff of a project started in 2013, in honour of the city’s World Design Capital Cape Town status.

Lorrain has painted a tiny Cape Town picture for each day of the year, and, naturally, all Cape Town Big 6 destinations feature regularly. Here’s part one of our favourite Cape Town Big 6 postcards for ants painted so far.
