Table Mountain Cableway

Spoil your kids with a Table Mountain Aerial Cableway trip! Table Mountain dominates the skyline of Cape Town and is one of the city’s most iconic landmarks and a must-visit destination for tourists. Here are some additional points to consider if you’re planning a trip to Table Mountain Aerial Cableway:

  • The cable car ride to the top of the mountain takes about 5 minutes and offers breathtaking views of the city and coastline.
  • Several hiking trails are available for visitors who prefer to explore the mountain on foot. Some of the popular routes include Platteklip Gorge, India Venster, and Skeleton Gorge.

V&A Waterfront

Head to the V&A Waterfront for shopping, dining, and entertainment options, including the Two Oceans Aquarium and Cape Wheel, which has recently been moved to a new area in the neighbourhood.

The Two Oceans Aquarium has a variety of marine life, including sharks, penguins, and turtles. The aquarium is home to over 8,000 marine animals, representing over 200 species. 

Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden

This school holidays, the Garden will be offering children 17 years and younger FREE entry as part of their Winter Wonders campaign. Winter Wonders will run from 24 June – 17 July 2023, with exciting workshops, activities, and events taking place in Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden. If you’re feeling peckish, head to the Kirstenbosch Tea Room, open daily from 09h00 – 16h00, or check out Moyo Restaurant, open every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 11h00 – 18h00; Tuesday from 09h00 – 18h00, and Saturday and Sunday from 09h00 – 18h00.

Cape Point

Get ready for an unforgettable winter adventure this school holidays! From June 24 to July 17, 2023, the ‘Kids R King’ specials at Cape Point will be available. Families can anticipate exclusive deals with the Flying Dutchman Funicular, the Two Oceans Restaurant, the Food & Beverage store, and curio shops.
