2023 – Cape Town is a city full of adventure and breathtaking sights, with a plethora of activities to enjoy. Table Mountain, Groot Constantia, Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden, Cape Point, V&A Waterfront, and The Robben Island Museum have everything you need to make the most of your long weekend!

Get Active In Nature

Cape Point and Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden are both stunning locations that offer some of the best hiking trails in South Africa. Cape Point is located at the southeast corner of the Cape Peninsula and offers a variety of hiking trails. The trails take you through fynbos vegetation and provide stirring ocean and coastline views. Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden is located on the eastern slopes of Table Mountain and offers a range of hiking trails that wind through the garden’s diverse flora offering stunning views of the garden and the surrounding mountains.

Eat And Explore

Whether you’re a wine lover, a history buff, or simply looking to take in some breathtaking views, Groot Constantia and Table Mountain Aerial Cableway are both excellent choices for your Easter weekend adventure.

If you’re big on wine, Groot Constantia is the perfect place to be this Easter weekend. The historic vineyard offers wine tastings and cellar tours that give you a glimpse into the wine-making process. You can also stroll through the vineyards and take in the beautiful scenery.

After a day at Groot Constantia, head over to Table Mountain Aerial Cableway for a magnificent view of Cape Town. The cable car ride to the top of the mountain offers a unique perspective of the city and its surroundings. Once you’ve reached the top, simply relax and enjoy the scenery.

Both Groot Constantia and Table Mountain Aerial Cableway have great restaurants that offer a variety of delicious meals. At Groot Constantia, visitors can enjoy a gourmet meal at Jonkershuis or Simon’s Restaurant or head over to Table Mountain Aerial Cableway to dine out at VIEWS by De Grendel Wines at the top of the mountain.
