The Robben Island Museum (RIM) is pleased to announce a new Walking Tour, which will allow tourists to explore Robben Island’s rich history and biodiversity while walking in the footsteps of South African legends. This exciting new tour will start on Friday 31 December 2021 and the tickets will be available from 28 December on our online booking platform.

Solar-powered show for Earth Hour at V&A Waterfront

Earth Hour is an annual global event highlighting the environmental challenges facing our planet and is celebrated on the last Saturday in March for one hour from 20:30 pm to 21:30 pm local time. The V&A Waterfront is working with Sunshine Cinema, a solar-powered mobile cinema, to host their first solar-powered Earth Hour event on 25 March 2017.
