Kirstenbosch Summer Sunset Concerts
GoldFish / HotWater
GoldFish bring a spectacular and eclectic genre-defying mix of live instruments, deliciously groovy house beats, trip-hop infused vocals and a searing live performance to the sometimes robotic and formulaic world of electronic music. It is their powerful merger of soulful, live instruments combined with the raw tribal energy of technical perfection that has catapulted this uber-talented duo from impromptu jams at a tiny beach club in Cape Town, to headline appearances at the biggest festivals around the world.
Blending dance-inducing African rhythms and melodies with uplifting folk, rock and pop, HotWater weaves a tapestry that is accessible and sought-after across the world. Their song Wamkelekile, a township-jive based track was selected for use in the Warner Bros blockbuster film BLENDED and reached 1 million streams on Spotify.
Feel good, interactive, theatrical and absolutely authentic, Hot Water’s live performances deliver the kind of magic that leave people with a sense of joy and connectedness that lasts long after the music has flown off into the night.
Things to remember:
- Gates to the concert area open at 19h00
- All tickets cost R385. Regret no free entry for children under 6 years
- All concerts take place irrespective of rain. Regret no refunds are issued
PLEASE NOTE WHEN BOOKING TICKETS ONLINE: Only Tickets via WebTickets are legitimate tickets, please do not purchase tickets from any other websites as it may be a scam.
